Magda-Vega opened the night with a 45-minute set. First band up, which is the hardest slot on any bill — the room is still filling, the sound is still getting dialed in, and nobody has had enough to drink yet. They held it.

Why This Page Exists
Bands play shows. Shows end. The photos get buried in phones. The videos don't get posted. The night disappears. That is the problem Rock Salt was built to solve.
This page is the permanent home for March 28, 2026. Every band that played, every set that happened, the Hall of Fame induction — it all lives here. When someone asks what happened at the first Rock Salt Spring Showcase, this is the answer.
If you were there: share this link. If you have photos or video from the night, reach out to admin@therocksalt.com.
