International Women in Music Day - Willöh, Shrink the Giant, Magda-Vega
About this show
Three of Salt Lake City's sharpest women-led acts take the Leatherheads Sports Bar stage for International Women in Music Day. Magda-Vega opens, Shrink the Giant follows, and 2025 Battle of the Bands champions Willöh headline. Part of The Rock Salt's Women in Music Month — 31 days of spotlighting the women who have always been at the center of Utah's sound.

Like Bowie and Beck, Shrink the Giant's discography seems to suffer from a multiple personality disorder. They boast an infectious diversity of styles, with mood swings from playful to thoughtful, marked by outbursts of indie-pop mania and occasional, alternative, spacy seclusion. If Paramore adopted the child of Metric and Flaming Lips, it would probably be named "Shrink the Giant."
SLC punk band with a fun '60s aesthetic.
