Sam hosts The Apple Seed – a long-running radio show on the art of storytelling – and serves as the Weber State University... Storytelling Fellow. Sam has brought his stories and songs to halls in Canada, Bulgaria, Tokyo, and from coast to coast in the United States, including the National Storytelling Festival in Jonesborough, Tennessee, and the Timpanogos Storytelling festival in Lehi, Utah.

I started playing piano at the age of four, begging my mom to let me take lessons, even though I couldn't read yet. I learned to read... music before I could read english. Writing and improvising music has always been an intensely personal experience, but the time has come to share it.
