Defeated Sanity is a German technical brutal death metal band from Dachsbach, Bavaria, founded in 1993 by guitarist Wolfgang Teske and his son drummer Lille Gruber. Known for combining inhuman blast-beat ferocity with jazz-fusion-influenced rhythmic complexity, they've released seven albums including Chronicles of Lunacy (Season of Mist, 2024). One of the most technically demanding death metal acts alive.
